The god of earth, stone, craftsmanship, and wealth; Tuor was once good friends with his brother Pyrhas, and a known sponsor of Paladins. However, this once honorable and steadfast deity has since become sullen, grim, and isolated, much like his children, the dwarves. Devoted solely to his work and the well being of his creations, he allows the worship of any who wish to offer it, but his true love is reserved only for his children.
Most of Tuor's Temples are primal in nature, gigantic caverns deep in the earth, upon the walls of which are graven in intricate relief the history of the world, of himself, and of his children, the dwarves. Many temples of Tuor once were built into existing volcanoes, during a happier time in which Tuor and Pyrhas co-operated as the twin gods of the forge. Known as "Temples of the Twins", the smithies in these temples were massive, as much forces of nature as they were creations of the dwarves who built them. Since the brothers' falling out, the goblins of Pyrhas have either conquered these volcanic temples or laid them to ruin, causing the dwarven clergy of Tuor to retreat to the "Deep Temples", built far beneath the Gray Hills. Some small shrines exist in hillsides and abandoned mines in human lands, but these are pale comparisons to the true Temples of the Earth God.
Tuor's Church is organized into two branches, the Sons of the Mountain, and the Stone Lords. The Sons of the Mountain are his clergy, while the Stone Lords are the elite of his warriors, chosen champions of dwarf kind whose very souls are imbued with the essence of the element of earth. Neither ever stray far from the dwarven realm of Gray Hills, except on official business.
